    Prayer Request (Still and again!)

Thank you to those that have been asking! For those that know some - keep praying - this is for those that don't have all the updates.

About a year and a half ago, Melinda was diagnosed with MS and then un-diagnosed. She's been seeing different Dr.s and specialists and it just seems as though no one wants to figure out what the problem is. They do tell us what they found that it ISN'T though - this can be a good thing!

Anyway ... She's been dealing with the symptoms all along of whatever. We finally got back to a neurologist (MS specialty) - had to wait to get to see her and then during the appointment she said, "I'm overbooked today and I don't have the time to give you the full check, can you come back tomorrow so i can get to my last patient?" Anyway - it was kind of like a kick in the teeth and yet we need some answers. I know ... there were other things that could have been said, but ...

Anyway (again) - I called this morning to see what the waiting period is for the preferred MS Specialist and research center in St. Louis would be. The lady said, "He's had a cancellation in the morning. How does 11:15 tomorrow morning sound?" When we had check on this Dr. way at the beginning there was nothing available. God is so awesome in His timing.

Thus my status ... I so want to be expectant when I ask God, and yet sometimes I'm surprised. WHY? He promises to take care of us and help and provide. I know that it isn't always in my time - but hey, He always has my back!

Anyway - thanks for the prayers and we'll do better at keeping you updated.

Thanks - Love - and prayers from the Toolpeople in Alton, IL! And remember ...

Life's too short to be grumpy, but never to short to be Jesus to someone!

    Wow!

I check this regularly but I guess I don't update.  My Journals are also like this... so don't feel left out.

God is working in Alton!  I bet He is working wherever ya'll are too.

The Underground Coffee Shop is opened (sort of).  We just got our Barista Job Description approved so we'll be hiring someone shortly.  You can check out our website at http://theundergroundcoffee.webs.com/index.htm

We're still working on on the website but it works for now.

Men's Camp is this weekend - I love going to camp and Men's Camp is pretty cool in this Division.  I love the World Services Auction on Saturday night.

That's all for now cuz I gotta get back to work.  Have a great day and remember, as always ...

    We ain't gone!

I know that I should update more, but ... that would make procrastination less fun!

Got to see Jav & Kels today.  It was a great surprise and great to hang with them and have them be a part of our Worship time.

Praise the Lord!  melinda is doing so much better and God has used this "illness" to minister to us and so many others.  She has been such an example of "being content", as Paul says, and such a demonstration of a Christlike testimony.  God has blessed me with an awesome woman.  Being married to her for 26+ years has been an awesome and groovy experience.  Continue to keep her in your prayers as she continues to recover and as she has to put up with me.

Krista & Adam got their house and have almost all the remodeling completed.  They plan to move in tomorrow.

Mike's doing good up in Iowa - the Frozen Snow Covered State.  His plan is to do mission work in Japan this summer.  Keep him in your prayers as he waits for God to bring things together and as he raises the funds to go.

"The Underground" coffee shop ministry is scheduled to open on the 29th.  Pray for God's blessing as we trek on this journey.

Well, that's all for now.  Chat later and remember ...

Life's too short to be grumpy but never too short to be Jesus to someone!
